Jean-Marie Barbaroux – Spectral theory for models in quantum electrodynamics Carte non disponible Date/heure Date(s) - 8 octobre 2013 Catégories Pas de Catégories Since the 90’s, there has been a huge litterature on the spectral study of hamiltonians in quantum electrodynamics. I will focus here on a series of results concerning the binding energy, namely the energy necessary to remove an electron in an atom to spatial infinity. I shall start with a introduction on the model and a definition of the Hamiltonian we study, and I will give a rapid overview on results connected to the computation of the binding energy. The rest of the talk will be devoted to the presentation of recents results obtained in collaboration with T. Chen, V. Vougalter and S. Wugalter.
