Pedram SAFAEE and Nonzero exponents for the twisted Cocycle for IETs and Translation Surfaces

I start by giving an introduction to IETs, translation flows, and the notion of renormalization. Then I motivate and define the rather new concept of twisted cocyle (originally defined by Bufetov and Solomyak). I will then discuss the existence of zero exponents and the problem of non degeneracy of the spectrum for the twisted Cocycle depending on the combinatorial data of the IET.
