Abstract :We will show how to sample a given density of points inside a large graph in such a way that the mean hitting time of this set of points for the random walk on the graphdoes not depend on its starting point. We will build such a set as a determinantal process formed by the roots of random spanning forests with or without conditioning on the number of trees. The study of these forests make also possible to understand, through statistical mechanics or probability arguments, a fully algebraic proof of Michelli and Willoughby that allows the construction of local equilibria introduced and studied by Diaconis, Miclo and Fill. A coupling between random forests associated with different densities finally introduce an intriguing coalesence and fragmentation process on the graph. This is a joint work with Luca Avena.[|http://www.i2m.univ-amu.fr/spip.php?page=pageperso&nom=Gaudillière&prenom=Alexandre|[
