We discuss an effective model for the quantum dynamics of a two dimensional particle under the influence of a random electric and a perpendicular magnetic field. It is quantum network percolation model. For the restriction to a cylinder we prove simplicity of the Lyapunov exponents, finiteness of the localization length. Furthermore we compute the mean Lyapunov exponent by a Thouless formula.
